2:00 – 6:00 PM – Art on the Town Carts
Meet and shop with Art on the Town artists, craftspeople, and authors selling and showcasing original, handmade items for sale including paintings, drawings, books, jewelry, photography, and more. Art on the Town Carts is a program sponsored by the City of Lexington.
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Gatton Bark
Bring your pup and join us for Gatton Bark, a social for dog owners and their four-legged friends! Shop local favorites like Hound and Horse Bakery, serving up fun themed cookies and treats, and Mister Moose & Co., known for their stylish slip-on bandanas. It’s the paw-fect mix of community, treats, and trendy accessories—all in the heart of the park.
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Live Music: Regina Mickens
Somewhere between the smoky ease of Norah Jones and the textured storytelling of Brandi Carlile, Micki blends soft rock, adult contemporary, and singer-songwriter roots into music that feels like home — but still stirs something brand new.
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Guided Tour: History of Town Branch with Tom Eblen
Discover the hidden stories of Town Branch on this guided walking tour with local historian Tom Eblen. Learn about the creek’s critical role over the 250 years of Lexington’s history, from its early settlements and industrial past to its transformation into a cherished community space. Along the way, enjoy the natural beauty of the park while gaining fascinating insights into the people, places, and events that shaped this historic waterway. Tour begins at the Gatton Park tent located on the Recreation Lawn.
