In 2022, Dr. Rosemary Allen became the first woman to serve as president of Georgetown College in its 196-year history. The signature accomplishment of her presidency is the successful $28.5 million fundraising campaign, which allowed the college to pay off its long-term debt. During her tenure as a professor, her dedication to teaching earned her top awards for teaching excellence, implementation of technology, and student mentorship.

George Eklund will be reading from his new collection, "Toward a Credo." Sean Corbin will read from his work, including "The Leper Dreams of Snow," and discuss the Poetry Gauntlet for those interested.

A lifelong public servant and advocate for justice, and trailblazer, Judge Gunther began her career in the Department of Defense. After earning a law degree from the University of Kentucky, she served as a juvenile prosecutor, created the Truancy Intervention Program, and, since 2021, has served as a Fayette District Court judge. She serves on the Kentucky District Judges Association Judicial Education Committee and several civic boards and commissions.
