Mark your calendars for Bookish Trivia at West Sixth Brewing in Lexington on April 2nd! Come out for an evening of good beer, better people, and the chance to show off your book knowledge (and maybe even win a prize for it!).
Trivia will start at 6pm and will be hosted by Local Trivia Action, but the fun starts before that! We'll be there starting at 5:30 with a limited selection of $3-$5 bestsellers to shop.
If you're not into trivia, we invite you to come chat, find a new read, and enjoy a beer outside. You'll still be helping us out - West Sixth is generously donating $1 per every beer served between 5:30-7:30 to support International Book Project!

If you want to make your Saturday night spectacular, then join the Imperial Court of Kentucky for our annual Inner Diva pageant at The Bar Complex on Saturday 4 April at 8:30 pm. This pageant is for all the ladies out there that have always wanted to be a true DIVA!
If you are interested in competing in the pageant, please contact either Kasi Nova or Marilyn Monáe Cox for information.
Net proceeds to benefit the charities of the Imperial Court of Kentucky.

Join us every other month for Book Bingo, where you can walk away a winner with prizes from both International Book Project and Wise Bird Cider. Book sales will begin at 6 PM, and bingo will kick off at 7 PM with rounds for both grown-ups and kids! (Kids' sheets are free, adult sheets are pay-what-you-can). You could walk away with some great reads, gift cards, or swag from your favorite cidery--not sure if bingo is your game? You can support just by grabbing your fave cider anytime between 6-9 PM! We'll be giving back 10% of our cider sales to support IBP, so they can continue the good work they do for our community and beyond. Or you can shop IBP's pop-up book store and enjoy a quiet evening on the patio with your newest read! There are so many ways to be a part of this evening...and so many chances to have FUN!

Halfway Home Rescue will be at International Book Project on Saturday, April 11 from 10am-2pm with adoptable cats! Stop by to play with some sweet kitties and learn a little bit about adopting from Halfway Home - and maybe just leave with your new best friend!
You'll also be able to browse the shelves of our bookstore - it's Second Saturday, after all, and as always we'll be selling all of our books for $5 or less!Just want to relax for a while? You're more than welcome to hang out, play with the cats, and read wherever you're comfortable in our space. We're just happy to have you!

Come see the versatility, athleticism, and elegance of the American Saddlebred Horse at the 2026 Lexington Junior League Charity Horse Show, July 6-11, 2026, at the KY Horse Park!
With exhibitions and classes, daily events, local vendors, food trucks, and more - there is fun for the whole family!
Created in 1937, to help fund the Junior League’s community works project, the horse show has grown to be the world’s largest outdoor American Saddlebred show and the first leg of the Saddlebred ‘Triple Crown.’
Today, the show attracts approximately 1,000 world-recognized competitors from the U.S. and Canada, and to date, has raised over four million dollars for charitable and civic organizations in Central Kentucky and over five million dollars in revenue for local merchants.

Gleaning Housing is hosting the second annual Running Pumpkin 5k. Bring a pumpkin or if you are feeling more festive dress in your best pumpkin costume. We will provide pumpkins for anyone that donated $20 or more to Gleanings Housing. Gleanings is a nonprofit that builds affordable rental housing in Lexington, Ky.
Snacks and drinks will provide for all race participants.
All are welcome for a fun fall run/walk.
