Singer-songwriter and creative community builder, Jeri Katherine Howell, welcomes people of all ages and levels of singing experience to Come Sing x City Parks, a seasonal, place-based folk music program that sparks creativity, connection and civic engagement through outdoor community singing circles in Frankfort, Kentucky. Come Sing will meet at the Leslie Morris Park (Fort Hill) Gippy Graham Shelter on April 15, May 13 and June 17 and at the Cove Spring Park & Nature Preserve (Lower) shelter on July 15, August 12 and September 16 — all from 6 to 8 PM. Each session will include introductions to one another and the park, simple warm-ups, group singing and closing reflections. Come as you are, sing as you are! Gleaning Housing is hosting the second annual Running Pumpkin 5k. Bring a pumpkin or if you are feeling more festive dress in your best pumpkin costume. We will provide pumpkins for anyone that donated $20 or more to Gleanings Housing. Gleanings is a nonprofit that builds affordable rental housing in Lexington, Ky.

Snacks and drinks will provide for all race participants.

All are welcome for a fun fall run/walk.
