Lamborghini alleges that Weddle owes more than $60,000 on a 2019 model — one the company says it wants back. According to court documents, demands for payment and possession of the vehicle haven't been successful.
WKYT reports the lawsuit also requests that the court enter judgement against Weddle for the outstanding balance and award attorneys's fees and court costs.
The London mayor — who has been in and out of the news over efforts to remove him from office and four felony charges he faces over excessive donations to Gov. Andy Beshear's campaign and Kentucky Democrats — has 20 days to deliver a written response in the Lamborghini case, or risk a judgement by default against him.
