Kentucky guard Jaxson Robinson made 8 of 12 from three-point range on his way to a game-high 24 points
as Kentucky cruised past the defending Division II national champions 98-67.

UK head coach Mark Pope liked what his team did in Tuesday’s exhibition finale.

“A good night for us, really good night,” Pope said. “It was good for us to have that experience. There were some numbers in the game that we’re really excited about. It’s another chance to grow. Proud of our guys.”

Three other Cats reached double figures. Otega Oweh had 15 points, Andrew Carr had 14 and Brandon Garrison added 12.

Kentucky opens regular season play on Monday, hosting Wright State at Rupp Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET and the game can be seen on ESPNU.
