The North Limestone corridor promises to look more like the North Pole this Saturday as the popular Night Market event moves indoors to the former Lextran Building on West Loudon Avenue. The NoLi CDC-led Public Market space will open permanently next summer but Executive Director Kris Nonn says this weekend’s Winter Market will serve as a preview of coming attractions.
"It'll have 120 vendors so if you've been to the Night Market it'll be like an indoor daytime version of the Night Market," Nonn said. "So the goal is to populate this space that will have a permanent public market in it coming next summer," Nonn told WUKY.
Holiday shoppers can also taste local foods, and enjoy live local music, while getting acclimated to the massive space. The event is Saturday December 7th from 1 to 6.
