Lee Dellapina
Host of The 859 Rewind PodcastLee Dellapina has been a Lexingtonian since 1988 and possesses a deep passion for the local music scene. He began his radio career in 1998 on WXZZ in Lexington, where he hosted The Starlight Lounge, a weekly, all-local music show, for four years, before bringing the program to WCDA for another three-year run.
Over that seven-year span, Lee amassed a massive archive of regional releases and developed deep roots within the community. An active musician himself, he has been involved in several local music projects over the years, including The Down, The Noonans, Quiver of Jasper, and his current band, Weak Ass Mushroom Tea.
Lee lives in Lexington with his wife, Annalee, and their daughters, Violet and Daisy. Catch him digging into the history, the tracks, and the untold stories of the scene through interviews with the people who lived it on his new podcast, The 859 Rewind.
