In this week's Capitol Chat the Kentucky Gazette's Laura Cullen Glasscock talks about Democrat Representative Joni Jenkins' decision not to run in a redrawn district, a bill that would give lawmakers the power to call themselves into a special session instead of the governor, and a proposed sweeping and controversial open records bill.

Laura Cullen Glasscock is the editor and publisher of the Frankfort-based Kentucky Gazette. She frequently appears as a guest political analyst on WUKY.

Bitten by the radio bug as a teenager, Alan Lytle got his start start more than 30 years ago volunteering in Clermont County, Ohio for WOBO-FM. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Broadcasting from the University of Cincinnati and worked at a variety of radio stations in the Cincinnati market, then made the move to Lexington in the mid-1990s.
