Governor Andy Beshear signed three executive orders on Tuesday. The first is the mask mandate. It is being extended for 30 days, effective January 2nd at 5:00 pm. Beshear said “this more than anything else is going to decide how many people live and how many people die. So wear your mask.”

The Governor also renewed the executive order allowing pharmacists to dispense emergency refills of up to a 30-day supply of non-scheduled medications for Kentucky residents.

Finally, as part of the new CARES Act that was passed, the CDC Eviction Moratorium was extended through January. On Monday Beshear signed an executive order that extends the state’s moratorium on evictions to match the CDC’s.
