With a little over a month and a half until the call to the post, workers at Keeneland continue to put finishing touches on temporary additions at the track for Breeders Cup.
There are exactly 52 days to go until Breeders Cup and the facilities are taking shape. Director of Communications Amy Gregory showed off the expanded paddock and snapped pics for us posing in front of the 2015 Breeders Cup Bronze Statue that stands just inside the gate and gave us a tour of the temporary paddock and trackside chalets. “This is a full dining and beverage chalet with the balconies that overlook the saddling paddock. It’s really a once in a lifetime view because we’ve never had a structure like this before. You can watch the horses being saddled, you can people watch…all the connections of the horses before they go out on the track. So it’s really one of the most unique views on the racetrack”
On Fridays and Saturdays during the fall meet, a seat for the club house lawn and paddock chalets will cost $80. That includes admission, lunch and a program.
