Lexington, KY – After a 25 year absence from the NCAA Tournament, the Morehead State Eagles have won the honor of a rematch with the number one seed Louisville Cardinals, after defeating Alabama State in the Play-In game in Dayton, Ohio.
Back in Lexington, the Kentucky Wildcats took advantage of a decided home-court advantage in cozy Memorial Coliseum for an opening round victory over UNLV in the National Invitation Tournament.
And down at Rupp Arena, fans from all across the Commonwealth are cheering their favorites in day one of the Kentucky High School Boys Sweet 16 Tournament. Opening round action features West Jessamine against Hazard, Grayson County tangles with Adair County, Central takes on Graves County, and Corbin battles Eastern.
