This week on Dr. Greg Davis on Medicine we hear from Craig Miller, professor of oral medicine and chief of UK Division of Oral Diagnosis, Oral Medicine and Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in the College of Dentistry. He talks about the ever expanding role dentists play in healthcare delivery. In fact, the UK College of Dentistry was intricately involved in the recent massive COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Kroger Field and it is also a part of a new project, funded through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, addressing a "wicked problem" in Appalachia by designing and evaluating a health education curriculum for elementary school children in Casey County, Kentucky.
