New Vocations is the nation's oldest and largest racehorse adoption program. At our annual Open Barn & BBQ event, we're looking forward to showcasing our adoptable horses and highlighting our mission of rehabilitating, retraining, and rehoming retired racehorses, giving them bright futures beyond the finish line. The Open Barn & BBQ is a family-friendly event held on our Lexington farm, come out and join us for a great evening of food, Thoroughbreds and fun! We draw hundreds of guests who enjoy our educational demos, horse meet & greets, food trucks, live band and a large silent auction which funds our adoption programs.
