Dembo and Alvarado are no strangers to anyone near a TV set in Central Kentucky in recent months, but the two haven't shared a stage, apart from a formal Commerce Lexington luncheon primarily focused on business and economic issues.

Andy Barr's Sixth District congressional seat is being called the state's most competitive, with recent polls and race trackers signaling shifts in Dembo's direction — raising Democrats' hopes of picking up a House seat. The candidates are slated to go head-to-head on Fox56 at 7 Thursday night.
