The costs vary depending on how new to the tradition you are. New dancers 13 and over pay $13.
Younger dancers $11. If you've already been bitten by the thriller bug in years past, the rate is lower, just $8 for those 13 and over and $6 for ages 7 to 12.

Mindy Stone with Parks and Recreation says there's still over a week left before the official "dead"-line, so to speak.
"If they want to come participate, they need to come to one practice before the 17th, and then we have what we call staging week, and that is the week we do Thriller, and so they need to come to one of the practices that week as well," she says.

"I think don't wait any longer. It's so much fun, it's a great activity, and just jump in and do it. It's a great experience."
This year, a pop-up tribute to the late Tim Curry is also planned, allowing dancers who want to learn some extra moves to get in on the Time Warp.
All zombie dancers must register online or in person at any scheduled rehearsal by Saturday, October 17.
