In a release, Peachtree Entertainment announced its plans for the 1,000-seat venue to be constructed in the Commons Entertainment District, a 43-acre mixed-use district one mile from downtown on Lexington & West Main Street. The full venue is set to hold 2,200 guests — and feature six full-service bars, premium VIP spaces, outdoor decks, and a versatile floor plan setting the stage for a wide range of events.
Peachtree describes itself as a "leader and innovator in live music," citing its role in launching country stars Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan, and Ella Langley.
Speaking about the Commons, VisitLex President Mary Quinn Ramer said The Rail "anchors that vision with exceptional energy."
The company is aiming for a grand opening in early 2027, with the first wave of shows slated for announcement later this year.
