The board met Monday night and unanimously approved an agreement with the Kentucky School Boards Association to help find the district’s next superintendent. The search is expected to be completed by March 31, 2027. The contract will cost the district $22,000, plus $250 for meetings beyond the first 10.
The board also approved a revised contract for Interim Superintendent Dr. Bill Bradford, extending his service for as long as he is needed in the role.
Financial concerns were also addressed as the board approved a corrective action plan focused on improving budget processes and internal controls.
Interim CFO Kyna Koch said some of the action items can be completed quickly, while others will take more time.
The district will launch a public dashboard Tuesday, allowing the community to track progress on the plan.
Board Chair Tyler Murphy said the goal is to strengthen accountability and ensure district resources are being used effectively to support students and schools.
