The scheduled temporary pause at the department will begin Wednesday, August 5, and run until Friday, August 14.
The department reports the pause is due to system changes applying to a number of different business tax types and the MyTaxes portal.
The updates will not, however, affect how Kentucky residents file and pay individual income taxes, according to the department.
During the upgrade, staff will have limited access to the system and will not be able to process returns or provide case status updates.
