A Woodford County teacher has been suspended without pay, according to media reports. The incident coincides with social media posts referencing President Donald Trump.

The school district isn't yet offering details about the suspension, except to say it involves a "serious situation."

The district is taking the action at the same time an X account, Libs of TikTok, alleges that a Kentucky teacher has been accused of threatening President Trump — by saying Iran should target the president at his Mar-a-Lago home.

While no connection has been officially established, GOP Rep. Andy Barr took to social media urging Woodford County to keep the alleged poster away from students and called for a Secret Service probe into the allegations.

Woodford schools spokesperson Elaine Bailey said the district is conducting an investigation in accordance with its policies and, as a personnel matter, it must remain confidential during that process.
