Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie is reacting to the arrest of former Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor over his ties to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The younger brother of King Charles III has since been released from custody, but remains under investigation regarding alleged misconduct in public office.

Massie, the Kentucky congressman who has become the face of the movement to release Epstein-related materials, re-posted a clip of himself laying out what he would consider success of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

"So how will we know if this bill has been successful?" he asked. "We will know when there are rich men in handcuffs being perp walked to the jail. And until then, this is still a cover-up."

In the post, Massie said, "Now we need justice in the United States." He also chided President Donald Trump over his comments regarding the release of files related to extraterrestrials, calling it the "ultimate weapon of mass distraction."

The congressman wrote that the Epstein files aren't going away... "even for aliens."

In a recent interview with POLITICO, the frequent outlier among his fellow Republicans in the House predicted that once primary season is over, there will begin to be more GOP defections and President Trump could face more resistance from within his own party.
