Fayette County Sheriff's Department activates Winter Care Program

The program provides enhanced safety and assistance during winter weather emergencies.

On Sunday, January 25th, deputies with the Fayette County Sheriff's office will provide:

Transportation to and from employment to anyone who provides direct healthcare services
Transportation to and from critical medical appointments
Pick-up of critical prescription medications
Welfare checks for vulnerable citizens
Distribution of winter coats and blankets
Transportation to shelters
