The Fayette County Coroner's Office confirms that 47-year-old Guy House was the man who shot and killed two women and injured two others at Richmond Road Baptist Church and injured a KSP trooper at the Blue Grass Airport on Sunday.

During a press conference held on Sunday, authorities reported that two women, who were shot at the Richmond Road Baptist Church on Old Richmond Road, died at the scene. The victims were identified as 72-year-old Beverly Gumm and her daughter, 32-year-old Christina Combs.

Two men, who were also shot at the church, were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The state trooper received life-saving assistance from good Samaritans at the scene and survived.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said in a post to X:

According to court records, House had a long criminal history, including wanton endangerment of a police officer and auto theft.

The officers will be placed on administrative leave while KSP leads an investigation and Lexington’s Public Integrity Unit conducts an internal review.
