Open Studio: New exhibit celebrates Hispanic community as 'heartbeat' of KY's equine industry

In this week's Open Studio segment, Tom Musgrave welcomes Lexington artist and teacher Gloria Artehaga, who talks about a multiyear project called Hispanics, the heartbeat of Kentucky's equine industry. This project includes a multimedia art exhibition that puts a spotlight on the significant contributions of the Hispanic community on Kentucky's signature agricultural industry.

The multimedia art exhibit for Hispanics, the heartbeat of Kentucky's equine industry will open July 12 through August 31 with an opening reception on July 18 at Lexarts in Downtown Lexington.
It will also appear later at the Keeneland Library and the Levy Collection Gallery.
