Pope Leo XIV: Catholic school in Lexington joins worldwide celebration of new Pope

Just as the broadcast featured a family of seagulls enjoying their evening meal, a cloud of white billowed from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel, and the students began to cheer.

Then the lunchroom erupted into chants of "We have a Pope!"

The formal inauguration mass for Pope Leo the Fourteenth will be celebrated on May 18 in Saint Peter's Square.
