'Act of evil': Gov. Beshear reacts to terrorist attack in New Orleans

Gov. Andy Beshear issued a statement after at least 15 people were killed and dozens injured on New Year's Day when a man plowed a vehicle through a crowd in New Orleans.

According to the Associated Press, the FBI is investigating this incident as an act of terrorism.

Beshear shared the following statement on Wednesday.

“The deadly attack this morning in New Orleans was an act of evil and cruelty. Britainy and I are praying for the victims and their families.”
