The Service Station Barbershop on New Circle Road is one of two drop-off locations for toys and clothing to be distributed at Stephon's Christmas Dream Celebration.

Stephon's Way Out connects formerly incarcerated people in Lexington with reentry services, peer support, and material resources. This week, they’re seeking donations of children's gifts to provide to families impacted by incarceration.

Veroqua Moore, the organization’s executive director says both clothing and toys are being accepted.

“There’s some children that struggle with having Christmas. There’s parents that struggle with buying their children Christmas gifts," said Moore. "We want to offer a service that will help to give a little bit of joy to their children."

Moore says donations can be brought to the Community Porch at 466 Ash Street or the Service Station Barbershop at 565 New Circle Road.

Stephon’s Christmas Dream Celebration will be held at 3 pm December 16th in the Marksbury Family Branch of the Lexington Public Library.
