From Texas To Great Lakes, Severe Weather Due Again
Eight days after a tornado devastated Moore, Okla., spring is still bringing severe storms to much of the nation. Forecasters warn that there could be tornadoes in some sparsely populated parts of Kansas and nearby states. Cities such as Chicago and Omaha could be hit by strong storms, too.

Report: An Angry Russia Will Deliver Missiles To Syria
Although the European Union is lifting its embargo, EU nations say they do not now have plans to send arms to those fighting the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad. Still, Russia is critical of the decision and says it will follow through on plans to send additional arms to Assad's military.
New York's Bike Share Program Off To A Bumpy Start
Riders can pick up a bike, take a ride and return it to a different location. About a hundred keys that members use to unlock bikes were lost in the mail. And, as workers were loading the $825 bikes for the first day of service, someone snagged one and rode off.

Nike Is Cutting Ties To The Livestrong Charity
Cycling superstar Lance Armstrong founded the cancer charity in 1997. After years of denials, he admitted in January that he used performance-enhancing drugs during his career. Nike earlier cut ties with Armstrong. Now it is parting ways with the foundation.
Eyelid-Lift Payments From Medicare Rise, And Raise Eyebrows
The number of eyelid lifts paid for by Medicare more than tripled in a 10-year span, according to the Center for Public Integrity. The cost to U.S. taxpayers for the surgery rose to $80 million in 2011, the report says. In one year, a Florida surgeon billed Medicare for about 2,200 procedures.
Oh, This Is Fattening? Teens Ignore Fast-Food Calorie Counts
About 40 percent of kids ages 9 to 18 report paying attention to calorie information when it's available in chain or fast-food restaurants. But youths who frequent fast-food joints two or more times a week were far less likely to say they used posted calorie counts to guide their choices.
London Attack Suspect Leaves Hospital; More Charges Filed
One of the suspects in the murder last week of British soldier Lee Rigby has been released from the hospital and is in police custody. Michael Adebowale, 22, received treatment after being shot by police following the brutal attack on Rigby in Woolwich, London. The other main suspect, Michael Adebolajo, 28, remains in the hospital.
