Kevin Grevey was an All-American basketball player at Kentucky, a two-time SEC player of the year, and is a charter member of the UK Athletics Hall of Fame. After playing for an undefeated UK freshman team in 1971-72, he scored 1,801 points in a three-year varsity career, and now ranks seventh among Kentucky’s all-time leaders. He was a first round draft pick of the Washington Bullets in 1975, and went on to a 10-year career in the NBA. He averaged 15 points a game for the Bullets NBA championship team of 1978.
