Mr. Doyle Lee is the founder of Helping Everyone Achieve Resilience Through Support (H.E.A.R.T.S.), a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring youth and supporting individuals re-entering society after experiencing trauma, substance use disorder, or incarceration. In alignment with Project Ricochet’s mission to build health, equity, and unity in underserved communities, his work exemplifies grassroots mobilization and the power of lived experience in public health.
Mr. Lee is a proud Lexington native and carries forward a legacy of faith, service, and community impact. As the grandson of the late Rev. A.B. Lee, who faithfully pastored The Greater Liberty Baptist Church for 45 years, Mr. Lee’s roots in community service run deep. His journey from the basketball court, where he earned a scholarship through the mentorship of his uncle, Charles W. Givens, to the frontlines of healing and advocacy reflects a life anchored in resilience, transformation, and purpose.
Currently, Mr. Lee serves as an administrator with The Voyage Movement and an active mentor through the ONE Lexington Mentorship Program, serving students at MLK Academy, Success Academy, The Learning Center, and STEAM Academy. He is also a Certified Community Health Worker (CCHW), deepening his role in holistic, community-centered care, values that directly intersect with Project Ricochet’s PR Health.
Through his work, Mr. Lee embodies the heartbeat of The Ricochet Effect, a platform for voices that are transforming trauma into triumph and planting seeds of health and hope throughout Central Kentucky.
