This year's daylong SoulTeenth Fest in Gatton Park will include the dedication of an EJI marker to honor R.C.O. Benjamin. Local activist Russell Allen joins the program to talk about the effort to memorialize the journalist, minister and attorney who was murdered on October 2, 1900, while helping to register Black citizens to vote in Lexington.
