Election Day is two weeks away and Capitol Chat is back with a closer look at some Central Kentucky legislative races that may signify the direction Republicans and Democrats are charting. Two seats could be pick-up's for the Democrats, one the GOP hopes to flip after coming close two years ago. Alan Lytle gains some insight on the contests in Senate district 27 and House districts 45 & 88 from Laura Cullen Glasscock, editor and publisher of the Frankfort-based Kentucky Gazette.

Alan Lytle has more than 25 years of experience as a Kentucky broadcaster. Over that span he has earned multiple awards for anchoring, writing and producing news & features for WUKY. He took home the Kentucky Broadcasters Association's Best Radio Anchor award in 2021.
