Police have yet to offer details on the case, but the incident drew a large law enforcement presence downtown.
In a statement to WUKY, police spokesperson Hannah Sloan said around 4:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to 301 East Main Street for a subject down. On arrival, they located an individual who was pronounced deceased.
The statement goes on to say that it “appears the individual fell from the building.”
No further information about the cause of the apparent fall was released and the death investigation continues.
