FBI seeking info on Addiction Recovery Care, provider says its 'confident' in its treatment

arccenters.com

A residential and outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment system in Eastern and Central Kentucky is under investigation by the FBI.

While no criminal charges have been filed against Addiction Recovery Care — commonly abbreviated ARC — the FBI’s Louisville Division is seeking information from anyone who may have been victimized by the treatment provider.

Investigators want to hear from patients and employees who were employed or treated any time after January 1, 2019. That includes those currently in positions or receiving care. Anyone with information is being encouraged to fill out an online form.

A release says victims may be eligible for certain services, restitutions, and rights under federal and state law.

In a statement, ARC says it’s confident in the services it offers and the provider, and its legal counsel, are cooperating fully in the investigation.
