After the two mayoral candidates tackled questions around reducing community violence and providing opportunities for low-income and otherwise marginalized communities in Lexington, six Council-At-Large candidates took a turn.

The forum at the Lyric Theatre was attended by councilmen James Brown, Richard Moloney, and Chuck Ellinger II. They were joined on the stage by former Councilman Bill Farmer Jr., Conservation District supervisor Lillie Miller-Johnson, and businessman Dan Wu.

All outlined their qualifications to lead and detailed their respective visions for the future of Lexington.

There will be an additional candidate forum for 1st, 2nd, and 6th district council members on September 29th ahead of the November 8th election.
