Over the course of the next 18 months, the airport will gather and analyze operational, environmental, and financial data about the facility and consult with both experts and the general public.

It's a tougher job than it might have been just a few years ago, before the pandemic and a more volatile economy have shaken up expectations.
But the chair of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board said in a release that, as the aviation industry evolves, it's important to hear from stakeholders.
