Former NPR Morning Edition producer Ashley Westerman got her start right here at WUKY as a student reporter. She now works as a freelancer and has just returned from her latest project, a 20-episode podcast series called Ukraine Stories, from FEARLESS Media - where she worked alongside former NPR journalists Kelly McEvers, Tonya Mosley and host David Greene to cover the war in Ukraine one person at a time.
