CBS Sports Classic update: UK to take on North Carolina Saturday in Vegas

The Kentucky men’s basketball team will now play North Carolina this Saturday instead of Ohio State in the CBS Sports Classic in Las Vegas. The Buckeyes had to back out of the non-conference showdown due to a COVID-19 outbreak within its program. The Tar Heels were originally scheduled to play UCLA but the Bruins had to pull out of that game due to COVID-19 issues within their program. Tip time for the game is set for 5:30. The Cats are 7 and 2 on the season. North Carolina has a record of 8 and 2 with wins over Michigan and Georgia Tech. Their two losses are to Purdue and Tennessee.
