A small two-seat plane crashed in the area of Athens Boonesboro Road. It was called in around 8:30 a.m. at Athens Walnut Hill Pike between Old Richmond Rd and I-75. Emergency crews are on the scene and at this time we don't know the status of anyone who was on board. Expect traffic impacts in the area.
