LexArts popular Hop is changing back from a virtual to a live and in person event once again starting this Friday night from 5 to 8 p.m. Community Arts Director Nathan Zamarron says more than two dozen galleries, studios and other exhibit spaces will be open for people to come and explore. He recently sat down with WUKY's Alan Lytle for a preview.
Maps and printed hop guides will be available for pickup at Arts Place, where they will also be hosting Chisels Heroes and Guardians, a series of wood carvings from artist and former Kentucky Wildcat National Champion Lavon Williams. The Hop takes place Friday night from 5 to 8 all over downtown Lexington.
