Lexington broke Coronavirus records last month. The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department reported that there were 6,070 new COVID-19 cases in November, that’s more than the two previous months combined. 164 positive cases were confirmed on Monday.
There have been 17,403 total cases since the virus was first detected in Lexington last March, with almost 35% of all cases coming in November alone. 113 Lexingtonians have died from COVID-19 so far, 14 were in November.
