Lexington's COVID-19 Cases More Than Double Previous One-Month High

The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department has reported 537 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend. The numbers break down to 334 on Saturday and 239 on Sunday. Health experts are expecting a surge of cases in the next few weeks because of the Thanksgiving holiday, this on top of already increasing numbers. More than 5,900 cases were reported so far in November. September now falls to the second highest case-count month for Lexington with 2,804 total cases.
