Frankfort Police say a shooting happened at a city park near Main Street Monday night just before 6:00. Officers said it happened near a shelter that had been rented out for a private party at East Frankfort Park. Three people were shot.
Two were able to walk into the hospital themselves and are expected to be ok, but 25-year old Anthony Hendrix Jr. of Cincinnati was pronounced dead. When the first officer arrived on the scene, he found Hendrix and performed CPR until medical crews could get to the scene but his injuries were fatal. All events at the park were cancelled last night. So far no arrests have been made.
