Kentucky Horse Park Theaters Get Long Overdue Makeovers

The Kentucky Horse Park celebrated the renovation of the park’s signature theaters.  Ovation and Mane, are both located inside the Visitor Center.  Horse Park Executive Director Laura Prewitt says the theaters hadn’t had a makeover since the facility opened in 1979.

Both theaters feature new paint, carpet, and state-of-the-art sound system.  Ovation boasts new seating with fold-away desks to accommodate lecture events for up to 112 people. The Mane Theater features reupholstered bench seating for up to 150 people and is used primarily for screening equestrian films and videos, as well as the Park’s new visitor "Explore & Discover" video with animated map, and the signature film “Reign of Nobility” both produced by Wrigley Media Group, which helped finance the upgrades.
