UK vs Duke, Tonight At 7:30

The Kentucky Wildcats and Duke Blue Devils will battle it out on the court tonight in the Champions Classic.

The Cats go into the game ranked second and Duke comes in at fifth.  Coach Cal says fans can expect to hear a lot of whistles being blown. “You’re going to have two driving teams.  Two team are going to drive, drive, drive so the game will probably take two and a half hours because there will be fouls.  We’re gonna foul and they’re gonna foul.  Both teams are driving the ball.  His team’s driving the ball.  My team’s driving the ball”

Along with strategy, safety is weighing heavily on Calipari’s mind when they head into Chicago’s United Center. “Everybody should step back and let’s evaluate security.  What are we doing for security?  And again, I worry about my players, our fans, my own family and I think it’s something that not just in football and pro-sports but in college.  You know what’s our security?   What do we look like?”  Organizers say security will be their top priority and as we’ve all become accustomed to, everyone will be searched before entering.

You can catch the game live on ESPN at 7:30 pm.
