A pilot of a small single-engine aircraft that crashed in Boyle County last night was able to walk away without any injuries.
The plane went down in Danville just off of Highway 127 where the World’s Longest Yard Sale was taking place over the weekend. Boyle County Emergency Management Director Mike Wilder said the pilot refused medical treatment. This is the second plane crash in Boyle County within a month; no one was hurt in either accident. The FAA is expected to arrive on the scene at 10:00 this morning to investigate.
