LEXINGTON, Ky. – City officials will gather at Founder's Park in Lexington Monday evening to dedicate a memorial in honor of fallen police officer Bryan Durman.
Durman was killed in April of last year when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver while responding to a noise complaint on North Limestone. Glen Doneghy was found guilty of manslaughter in the case.
The memorial dedication will start at 6 o'clock at the intersection of Fifth Street and Broadway. Mayor Jim Gray, Lexington Police Chief Ronnie Bastin, and officer Durman's widow Brandy will speak at the event.
