Willisburg, KY – Searchers in central Kentucky have found a 7-year-old autistic boy who was missing for two days and say he is safe.
Kentucky State Police say a ground search team found Randall Leon Chesser conscious around 2:45 p.m. EDT at a creek about three miles from his home in Washington County. Trooper Billy Gregory says the boy ate and drank and has been taken to a hospital to be checked out.
Searchers were joined Monday by more than 60 cadets from the Kentucky State Police Training Academy who scoured the area around the boy's home in Willisburg.
The boy had been missing since around 6 p.m. Saturday.
