As the coronavirus quarantine has extended well into Spring all over the country it’s hit the tourist industry in Kentucky particularly hard. Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm in Georgetown, which subsists on donations, grants and revenue from tours, gift shop and annual fundraisers, would normally be enjoying the busiest period of the year right now, welcoming upwards of a thousand visitors a week to their farm. Instead, they’ve found a way to bring the horses to you in your home. WUKY’s Samantha Lederman spoke to founder and president Michael Blowen.
