The Biden administration has signaled for congress to increase the federal minimum wage to provide relief for struggling low-income workers, but could there be unintended consequences as a result?

This week on the Business Side, we talk with Dr. Kenneth Troske about the implications of raising wages for the lowest earners in the country through federal mandate. Dr. Troske is the Richard W. and Janis H. Furst Endowed Chair of Economics at the University of Kentucky, and he is a Research Fellow with the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn, Germany.
